For any gathering, you’ll want to have a jar of this guava and piquillo jam ready in your fridge to pair with any cheese or bread. Trust us, it will keep the Tios quiet and it will save you time.

To make this perfect spread you will need:

•1 jar or small can of Conchita Guava Marmalade
•1 jar of Conchita Piquillo Peppers 
•5 tbsp of sugar
•1 tbsp of Balsamic Vinegar
 

Instructions:

1.Start by opening the piquillo peppers and straining all the water out.

2.  Using a food processor or small blender, crush the piquillo until it’s a purée.

3. Set a pan on medium heat. Add 5 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar, and mix together.

4. Add the piquillo purée to the pan, mix, and let it simmer for 20 mins while occasionally stirring until you see it getting thicker.

5. Turn off the heat and let it cool. As it’s cooling, stir in ¼ cup or more of the guava marmalade. The choice is yours.

6. Let it cool, pour into a large jar and store in the fridge for whenever you get an antojito. Enjoy it with your favorite cheese and bread.
