Ingredients
- Green Plantains
- Conchita Vegetable Oil for Frying
- Ground beef, seasoned with Conchita all-purpose Sazón & Conchita Mojo Criollo.
- Salt to taste
- Lettuce, sliced
- Tomato, sliced
- Cheese
- Conchita Mango BBQ Sauce
Instructions
- Peel and chop the green plantains into small pieces.
- Fry pieces in hot pan with Conchita Vegetable Cooking Oil and remove from pan when lightly browned.
- “Machuca” the tostón by smashing them gently one by one and put it back in the frying pan to brown and crisp up.
- Remove from pan, soak excess of oil and add some salt.
- Build your tostón with your favorite toppings and add Conchita Mango BBQ Sauce.
