Ingredients
1 egg
2 ripe avocados
1 tbsp. garlic, minced
½ tbsp garlic salt
½ tbsp. pepper
½ tbsp. Conchita Sazón
¼ tbsp. red pepper flakes
3 tbsp. fresh cilantro, finely chopped
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup milk
½ cup Conchita Lemon Blend
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups Conchita Vegetable Oil
Instructions
- Peel and slice the avocados into long, thin pieces
- In a bowl, stir together the all-purpose flour, red pepper flakes, Conchita Sazón and garlic salt. In a separate bowl, whisk the milk and egg.
- Add 2 tbsp. of the milk mixture into the all-purpose flour and stir them together until flour becomes crumbly and coarse. Add the remaining milk mixture over the avocados.
- Heat the Conchita Vegetable Oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Dip the avocados into the flour mixture, making sure they are fully coated.
- Carefully drop the avocado slices into the hot oil and fry until golden brown. Remove from oil and let excess oil drip onto a paper towel.
Cilantro Dip
In blender, mix mayonnaise, garlic, pepper, Conchita Lemon Blend and cilantro.
